Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has added yet another award to his ever-growing cabinet.

The Australian has been awarded the Scottish Football Writers Association Manager of the Year for 2022/23.

This news comes as no surprise, with Postecoglou leading his side to yet another Scottish Premiership title, League Cup triumph and Scottish Cup final.

Fending off competition from the likes of Barry Robson of Aberdeen, St. Mirren’s Stephen Robinson and Dunfermline manager James McPake, the 57 year old won the second year running award.

Well into awards season, Postecoglou has already received a plethora of accolades.

The Celtic manager has ensured his side have been almost impeccable in 2022/23 and he will have aspirations to write his name into the club’s history books next weekend in the Scottish Cup final.

Should Celtic taste victory, the club’s eighth treble will be secured – a world record.

Doing this would put even more testament to all of the awards Postecoglou is currently winning, not that he needs to any more evidence to back up his credentials.
