Celtic were deserved 3-0 losers in the final Glasgow derby of the season.

Ange Postecoglou selected a team that surprised many and his choices certainly weren’t the correct ones.

There was a noticeable lack of fight, hunger and desire from the champions and after the game, Postecoglou made a concerning statement that the Hoops has practically conceded the fact they were going to lose (Clyde 1):

“In the second half, like I say, I felt we almost accepted our fate.

“You can lose a game of football, that’ll happen, rather than us going out there and changing the course of the game.”

It was clear to see that the Celtic players didn’t have their minds fully focused on the game.

The Bhoys were lacklustre all over the pitch in a performance that was not worthy of champions.

Nonetheless, there are a few positives to take for Celtic in that the treble is still well and truly on and that a false sense of security may begin to set in at Ibrox as a result of the result.

  1. I hope people realise that Sevco are only one point behind Celtic according to some Scottish press. They’ve done it again. Picked a point in history and shown how Sevco are better than they are. That point is the last 20 league games where Sevco have only dropped one more point than Celtic. So give them the league now….and the league cup….oh might as well give them the Scottish Cup as well ! ! !
