Ange Postecoglou has confirmed he is still to make a final decision on who his backroom staff at the club will be.

Speaking at his first press conference as Hoops manager this afternoon, Ange stated that he is still to decide who his coaching staff will be but was quick to express that the final decision will be his.

“I’ll make those decisions as we go along. My view on these things is always that I will trust my judgement above anyone else’s because I am going to be the one working with people every day.

“I’ve had plenty of people offering opinions, and that’s great; I take as much information as possible. But every role I’ve walked into, I’ll back myself to make the right decision.

“And that will happen over the course of the next few weeks, both with players and with staff.”

Many fans expressed their opinion over the fact both John Kennedy and Gavin Strachan remained at the club on the first few days of pre-season.

However, it appears that a final decision is set to be made over the coming weeks by Postecoglou as he continues to settle into the job at Parkhead.

It is clear he will be making this judgement on his own watch, with little to no interferences.

In the next few weeks, it will be interesting to see what sort of developments come on this front and who we may see sitting on the bench for our first Champions League qualifier against Midtjylland next month.
