Ange Postecoglou has stated that Saturday’s match did not mirror the game that unfolded between Celtic and Ross County in December last year.

Celtic had the lead, but after Ross County’s comeback and Carl Starfelt receiving his marching orders, Celtic was saved by Anthony Ralston, who leapt higher than the rest to head the ball into the net in the 97th minute.

This game didn’t follow the same suit, you could always sense Celtic getting a winner, and they did so well before the ninety was up.

It didn’t stop journalists trying to come at Ange from a negative angle. As quoted by The Sun, Ange wasn’t happy when the question he was asked compared the match to the one that happened late last year.

“Was it similar to December? Our football was a lot better this time. People can look at the result and think it was close. There was an edge to the game because of the late goal. I felt we were really in control of the game.”

Postecoglou’s Record

Ange Postecoglou has a good record against Ross County, yet to drop points to the side. Away from home, the conditions are hard, but the manager still ensures his team overcome them and pushes on to collect the three points.
