Celtic have an absolute player on their hands with Jota but he’s not ours to keep, yet!

Today, Ange Postecoglou gave his biggest hint yet the club is ready to sign the winger on permanent basis.

Speaking to CelticTV, the manager has made it clear he wants to keep the player at Celtic and believes Glasgow is the best place for him.

“If he feels that this is the place for his future we’d be more than happy to keep him here.

“He’s got a good head on his shoulders & he knows that the best way forward for him is to keep playing his football & the rest will take care of itself.”

Jota has been sensational and has really built a rapport with his teammates over a short period of time. The bhoys have welcomed the Benfica player with open arms and his contributions to the team have been excellent.

Celtic do have an option to buy Jota and it should me a matter of when and not If the club look to make the deal permanent.

The Hoops have already qualified for European football beyond Christmas, they’re in the semi final of the League cup and are just four points behind in the SPFL. Things are certainly looking up after a dismal campaign last year when nobody really won.

Football without fans is a training exercise.
