ANGE POSTECOGLOU will be plotting his side for the next outing against Ross County in just over a weeks time.

The manager knows what squad he’s working with now and will be able to make more measured and thought out decisions because, for the first time since taking over at the club, he has a chance to draw breath.

One big decision the manager will have to make is how he deals with Jusip Juranovic and Anthony Ralston. First of all, credit to Anthony we’re actually talking about a scenario where it would be very harsh for him to be dropped from the first team.

Taking Ralston straight out of the team and onto the bench could be a blow to the defender’s confidence. Ange must tread carefully, Josip has not come to sit on the bench either so it will be very interesting to see how the Australian deals with it.

There are plenty of games coming up for both to shine and get game time.

By poor management of the club, Ralston found himself in an opportunity even he thought had already passed him by. The club’s only right-back for the first part of the season left many fans despondent, but the defender has made us eat our words and really put in the effort to show he’s not a dud.

If he keeps things up, Anthony could be in line for a new Celtic contract.

  1. Ralston has improved a great deal but he is just not of the same class as Juranovic. A proven Croatian International was not bought to prop up the bench I actually believe he will turn out to be a class signing. HH
