Ange Postecoglou could be set for a reunion with one of his former Celtic signings this summer.

The Australian manager has been out of work since his brief and underwhelming spell at Nottingham Forest earlier this season, a job he entered mid-campaign without the benefit of a proper pre-season or transfer window to shape the squad.
This summer now feels like the ideal opportunity for Postecoglou to jump back into management properly.
And while he has already ruled out a return to Celtic despite the club once again searching for a permanent manager, reports from Turkey suggest another major role could soon open up.
According to leading Turkish outlets Fanatik and A Spor, Postecoglou is emerging as a managerial target for Besiktas.
If he were to land the role, it could see him reunite with striker Hyeongyu Oh – the forward he brought to Celtic from Suwon Bluewings during the January 2023 transfer window.
Of course, the pair only worked together in Glasgow for a short period.
Just six months after signing Oh, Postecoglou departed Celtic for Tottenham Hotspur after delivering a domestic treble and completely transforming the club.
Now there is a possibility their paths could cross again in Turkey.
However, even if Postecoglou does arrive at Besiktas, there is no guarantee the reunion would last particularly long.
Oh’s impressive form has reportedly attracted growing interest from across Europe, with clubs including Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur said to be monitoring the 25-year-old striker’s progress.
So while Postecoglou could soon reconnect with one of his former Celtic players, he may not get much time working with him before bigger clubs potentially enter the picture.
