Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has a clever way with words; he’s forever saying things that stick with the Celtic support.

The manager has full support, and as things stand, the board looks behind him with a busy summer underway.

Celtic has already announced the signings of Cameron Carter-Vickers and Benjamin Siegrist. Deals for Jota and Alexandro Bernabei reported being in the advanced stages.

Speaking Empowering Leaders Podcast, Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou might have just given us one of his best quotes yet;

“Everything about the game-style I set up is about taking risks. It’s not being risk-averse. I would have zero chance of achieving what I want to achieve if, at the first attempt to play our football, I pull them up for mistakes.”

Celtic Take Risks

Celtic take risks almost all the time, from passing it out from the back while the opposition hunts them down, to committing to each attack. It’s highly rewarding, as we’ve seen this season.

Sometimes it doesn’t pay off and we’re punished, but as long as Ange sees his team playing the way he wants, he’d be a hypocrite for coming down in them.

Hopefully, Celtic fans will see more of the benefits from the risk-taking in the Champions League next season, as the Hoops prepare to go toe-to-toe with the top European teams.

Last season was a roller coaster, next season will likely be the same.
