Ange Postecoglou has named the side that will start against SC Wiener Viktoria in Celtic’s first match of their pre-season.
The majority of the squad returned to Lennoxtown on Monday, giving them very little preparation time for Wednesday night’s game.
Postecoglou has the luxury of a full squad, with only a few exceptions. Starfelt travelled with the Bhoys, but he’s continuing his rehab from the injury he picked up on international duty. This leaves Celtic short at the back, with a few of the younger players set to fill in.
So, here it is, Ange Postecoglou’s first Celtic squad of the new season;

As expected, there are a few changes in the side with a mix of experience and youth.
The Celtic Players’ Big Chance
It’s a big chance for the players who aren’t in Ange Postecoglou’s first team. If they can impress throughout pre-season, they will force their way into the manager’s thinking.
The expected rotation throughout the match will see more youth players come onto the park and be granted an opportunity to impress the manager.
