The Aussie gaffer confirmed that the side would be without Liel Abada and Tony Ralston for the trip to Dingwall, both of the players had to return from their international camps to Lennoxtown early due to their injuries. The pair will be out for a couple of weeks, and will miss the derby at Paradise next Saturday.

Aaron Mooy and Tomoki Iwata are ‘touch and go’ for the weekend, the manager has said, after both players missed the match against Hibs through injury.

Postecoglou also confirmed that James Forrest will be on the sidelines for a little while longer.

Giving a full update, Ange Postecgolou said: [Daily Record]

Ralston and Abada picked up some injuries in camp so will probably miss a couple of weeks. We will see how they develop.

“James Forrest is still out for a little bit of time. The other two are Aaron Mooy and Tomoki Iwata, who have stayed with us and they are touch and go for the weekend, we don’t see them being too far away.”

Ange Postecoglou won’t want to risk his players for the trip to Dingwall. The team have a big match next Saturday, with a derby win set to take Celtic twelve points clear at the top of the table.

Abada has been so effective in recent derbies, and not having him running in at the back post as he’s done so well will be a major blow for Postecoglou and the team.
