ANGE POSTECOGLOU has made the claim he may have to be more forceful to get the players he want quicker.

The Australian coach admitted things are going on behind the scenes but when asked about the slow recruitment process he conceded he might have to be more forceful.

Speaking to SunSport after the game, the Celtic gaffer said:

“Again, maybe I wasn’t clear enough – I don’t know.

“I think I’ve been pretty consistent in saying we need more players in. The club’s working hard to get those players in.

“We talk endlessly about the challenges we face but again for our supporters they just want to see us bring more reinforcements in that we need.

“I’ve just got to reinforce my views on it as strongly as I can.”

The snails pace Celtic have done business since Ange has come in has made his job almost impossible and we telegraphed our own demise in the Champions League qualifiers.

It’s not been good enough. Either the people running Celtic don’t care or they are incompetent. Our frailties have been well documented for well over 6 months and it’s only now we’re starting to get reinforcements through the door – the league kicks off on Saturday!

Starfelt is due in at Lennoxtown and will likely go straight into the side. Furuhashi shouldn’t be too far behind the Swede in joining the team and getting into the match day squad.

We still need much more in the way of reinforcements if we’re to challenge this season.
