ANGE POSTECOGLOU is determined not to let this result influence the remainder of Celtic’s season.

The end is in sight. The players can’t dwell on this performance as they look to finish the season strongly. The league isn’t over yet. Postecoglou wants the players to use this loss to fuel their motivation for the next five games, knowing his side is three games away from winning the league.

Speaking to Celtic TV after the match, Postecoglou said;

We’ve had a lot of challenges this year, and this is another one. There’s no point feeling sorry for ourselves.

“We’ve gotta dust ourselves off and look forward to the next game. We’ve got five games to become champions of this country, and that doesn’t change after today.

“We need to use this disappointment today to fuel what’s gonna happen in the next few games.”

It was a poor performance, but Celtic can’t complain too much. Their performance didn’t merit a win.

Postecoglou’s squad must now focus on next weekend’s game in Dingwall, knowing that a win takes the side a step closer to being crowned champions.

Celtic then face The Rangers in the final derby of the season. A win here should take Celtic nine points clear with nine points left to play for. With Celtic’s superior goal difference, the league could be won on May 1st against The Rangers.
