Ange Postecoglou showed the lighter side of his personality on Wednesday evening when the cameras went live for his post-match interview.

Rory Hamilton was doing the honours for Premier Sports. When he began to ask Ange questions, the Celtic manager stopped ask Rory if he should tell Chris Sutton what Rory was saying about him off camera.

Football Scotland reports:

Ange spoke to Rory Hamilton after the match:

“Shall I tell Chris what you were saying about him or let it run? Okay,” Ange said cheekily.

“Yeah, it was pleasing. In cup games like I’ve said before there’s always a bit of an edge because the opposition have nothing to lose. I thought Motherwell set up to be aggressive and we should’ve put the game to bed earlier but the standard of the goals was good.”

The manager has a dry sense of humour. Something we’ve all witnessed at some point over the last 18 months.

Ange was in a great mood after seeing his side register another thumping win. The Hoops made easy work of Motherwell in the end. Despite it taking until the 44th minute to get going, the bhoys were relentless.

It sets up a Hampden January clash with Kilmarnock in the semi-final of the competition. Celtic coming up against a Derek McInnes side at the national stadium – some things never change.

Celtic look in a much better place after their two victories this week. The bhoys have registered ten goals and conceded only one. It’s off to Tynecastle next!
