CELTIC have a manager! It’s a strange thing to type after so many months wanting clarity and direction. Ange Postecoglou is the new manager of the club!
Ange became Celtic’s number one target two weeks ago after Eddie Howe pulled out at the eleventh hour. The club have been working hard behind the scenes to make this happen and today it’s finally been confirmed.
We got word last month, Eddie Howe was looking for a longer commitment from Celtic with regards to any deal. In the past 20 years, Celtic managers have signed 12 month rolling contracts with the club – even Brendan Rodgers.
This continues with Ange Postecoglou who Celtic have confirmed will be on a 12 month rolling deal.
The Australian comes in under immense pressure to hit the ground running bu he appears to be a big character who can handle the pressure.
People who have followed his career have nothing but good things to say about him. It’s an exciting and intriguing time.
