The one man at Celtic who still has the complete trust of the Celtic support is Ange Postecoglou, and it’s no coincidence or accident.

The Celtic manager is a straight shooter and doesn’t like to mince his words or be drawn into headline making for the mainstream media.

Where some managers would happily give a headline or two when it comes to certain things around the club or the support. Ange diffused a question about the Celtic support, the Green Brigade and their board protest banner at Celtic Park during the Ross County tie.

The Green brigade pulled out the banner they once used outside Celtic Park during this summer to again call out the board.

When asked about it Ange delivered this outstanding response.

“We are all transient figures at this great club. The constant is the fans and they expect us to get on with it.” The manager told SunSport.

“I’ve done that throughout my career and will continue to. Everyone is allowed to express opinions in whatever way they choose to, our job is to send the 60,000 who are here home happy and that goes for the millions around the world.

“Sometimes it’s good to be kept on your toes and I am sure our supporters will do that.”

Ange is slowly building something special at Celtic and fans have bought into the new manager a big way. Not only does Ange talk the talk but he certainly can walk the walk and his team already look miles better than how we looked last term.

Celtic fans are hopeful the team can push all the way this season.

  1. One of the best things that will help with the rebuild is the absence of Eduoard. He comes on as a sub and scores 2 goals and celebrates them more than he ever did at Celtic. Just proves he had downed tools at Celtic so were better off without him
