The bhoys have options to buy on both players but have been keeping their cards close to their chest when it comes to when they might pull the trigger.
The Jota deal is a no-brainer. If the Portuguese star is happy to sign, Celtic will grab a bargain at £6m. Some fans might fear Celtic taking a leaf out of Oostende’s book and sign a player under a cheaper first option and then selling for big money. We hope that’s not the case here!
Carter-Vickers has flown under the radar but the defender has been solid, he also has a fee of around £6m if the bhoys are to sign the player from Spurs.
