ANGE POSTECOGLOU has informed the press that, as of now, there are no players imminently leaving the club.

The manager clarified that he had not yet been informed of any potential departures of Juranovic and Giakoumakis, despite rumours of the two leaving this January. He noted that once he is informed of an impending deal by the club, that‘s when things are properly in motion. On Friday afternoon, however, he was unable to report any developments.

“It’s the nature of the business the whole of January there will be speculation but from my perspective I don’t think about it until it comes to me and that usually means there’s something there. We haven’t had anything like for any players up to this point.” he told Celtic TV.

Celtic are in the market for a striker, but we’re no closer to finding out who that will be with the Cho Gue-sung deal up in the air.

Celtic have already signed Alistair Johnstone to replace Juranovic but the defender is sitting tight in the hope of landing a move to the English Premier League later this month.

Celtic brought three players in before the window had even opened, you can feel the support becoming impatient with potential incoming and outgoings, but Ange has said once they know what they want or if a deal comes up, they are good at snapping these transfers up quickly.
