ANGE POSTECOGLOU has set the record straight after his training methods have been questioned in the wake of yet more injury call-offs at the weekend.
We’ve not got a fit striker at the moment. As it stands, we’ve got eight players out injured who could have a bearing on the first team squad.

Ange plays high-intensity football and it’s been floated perhaps his training sessions could be contributing to some of the injuries.
Ange set the record straight but did concede there was always teething problems when he first got to a club as the transition to his style of football took shape.
“This experience is not unusual for my first year at any club. My background in Australia is heavily influenced by sports science, it’s very prevalent in sport in Australia.” Ange told CelticTV.
“I think sometimes people misinterpret when I say we train hard.
“(We’ve not got them) running up and down the hills on Lennoxtown headlessly with 20kg weights on their backs.
“It’s not what we’re doing but what people have to appreciate is pre-season is a really important part of what you do and we just didn’t have any of these guys in pre-season.”
Ange seems confident these players problems will clear up the further down the line they get under his regime.
There are just some players who are susceptible to injury. There could be some at the club who need to move on because their bodies can’t handle the rigours of what’s affectionately been called ‘Ange Ball’.
Celtic have a game against Ross County on Wednesday night where they’ll again play without a striker.
A League Cup final aways the bhoys on Sunday. This current squad coming through the game in Dingwall unscathed is vital.
