CELTIC will be playing in the Conference League at the beginning of next year.  Who we will be playing, is still very much up in the air!

The conference league still has one more game to go before we’ll know for sure who the Hoops will be taking on.

What we do know is, it will be one of the below teams.

Here are all the teams who could finish second in their Conference League group who will be put into a draw to fave third placed finish Europa League clubs:

  • A – Maccabi Tel-Aviv
  • B – Partizan Belgrade, Anorthosis Famagusta or Flora Tallinn
  • C – Bodo Glimt or Roma
  • D – Randers or Jablonec
  • E – Slavia Prague or Union Berlin
  • F – Slovan Bratislava or PAOK
  • G – Spurs or Vitesse
  • H – Basel or Qarabag

There’s potential for some hard-fought ties. Roma and Spurs obviously stick out. Ange taking on Antonio Conte or Jose Mourinho would certainly be exciting.

It will be the club’s first appearance in the brand new competition in February. We will find out our opponents in December and will have ample time to prepare.

Fingers crossed we’re stronger by then and can make a go of it.
