Having a derby game on Saturday meant that it wasn’t too easy to look ahead to the match against Real Madrid but the day is finally here.

The 14 times winners of the tournament will rock into Glasgow’s east end tonight having not played Celtic for 42 years.

When Los Blancos last played at Celtic Park they were defeated 2-0 with goals coming from George McCluskey and Johnny Doyle.

Ange Postecoglou won’t be able to pick the exact same starting line-up from Saturday due to injuries meaning he has a couple of big calls to make.

Carl Starfelt will miss out due to a knee injury and is expected to miss the next few weeks.

This will mean that it is likely for Moritz Jenz to get the nod and come into the Celtic team. The German defender is more than capable and has already faced quality opposition during his time in Ligue 1.

There is likely to be no other changes in defence or midfield meaning the only other dilemma for Postecoglou will be in the forward positions.

Jota is probably the only stick on for tonight. Kyogo going off early on Saturday may place some doubt over him starting but he was spotted in training yesterday. If Ange think’s he’s ready he will start the Japanese striker.

Maeda has been an integral part of Postecoglou’s play but with Liel Abada scoring a brace at the weekend the young winger may well just get the nod.
