Celtsarehere.com attended Friday’s press conference with Ange Postecoglou ahead of the new season.

The Australian picked up where he left off last season when it comes to dealing with some of the more tedious questions by some in the media.

The running theme at the beginning of last season and even at parts when Celtic weren’t doing so well was Ange didn’t know much about Scottish football. There was a famous moment when Ange had to tell a journalist he didn’t come from another planet when he was quizzed what he knew about Hearts.

While today’s question was fairly innocuous, it still felt like it was leaning towards the side of Ange coming in last season and not having an idea about the Scottish game.

The journalist proceeded to ask Ange if he felt better now he’s had a season in Scottish football and knows the landscape of the league and country now.

Ange’s response was prickly but delivered in the trademark nonchalant Ange fashion.

The manager never seems impressed with these lines of questioning.

In comparison, the Celtic manager gave great answers to Natasha Meikle who attended the press conference on behalf of CeltsAreHere.com.

Natasha asked about how the manager would potentially deal with issues that arise now that other teams know how Anhe and the team play. We also asked about Giakoumakis and Kyogo and how they could compliment each other this season in the season.
