CELTIC have announced an end of the year tournament in Australia where the bhoys will participate against three other clubs. One of those clubs is rumoured to be our Glasgow rivals but this has yet to be confirmed.

The Hoops have billed it as a ‘homecoming’ for Ange when he takes his team to Australia. Ange is a very proud Australian and will take immense pride returning down under as Celtic manager.

Asked about the tournament today, Ange admitted it will be emotional.

“It’ll be emotional. A lot of guys I grew up with are die hard Celtic fans and they get to see their mate bringing Celtic down under. It’ll be special for sure.” The Celtic manager told Joe Hendry.
Celtic have a unique opportunity to travel across the world during the winter World Cup in Qatar. Having Ange as the manager will certainly draw out a lot of Australian football fans, and it will be a treat for the Hoops support already over there.
Many Celtic fans would certainly be a bit more positive about this tournament if our Glasgow rivals weren’t tipped to join us for the tournament.
There is likely to be a match between the two clubs – a Glasgow Derby outside of Scotland for the first time ever. It’s intriguing to many neutrals but Celtic fans, on the whole, don’t like to be branded alongside the Ibrox club.
Ange will certainly relish the opportunity.
