HAMILTON BOSS Brian Rice has suggested Scott Brown should have never got the chance to score his dramatic late winner because the team felt Hamilton should have had a free kick in the build up to the goal.

Rice, speaking after the match said he had an angry dressing room because of what transpired at the end of the game.

“It’s an angry dressing room because the boys feel we should have got something,” he told Herald Sport.

“A couple of decisions didn’t go our way either.

“The general consensus from the boys was that it was a push from Leigh Griffiths on young Sam Stubbs.

“But it’s done and dusted. Some go for you, some go against you.

“Did I speak to the ref? No. I have known Alan Muir for a long time, but I don’t speak to him after games.”

Hamilton put in a high energy shift and thought they had a point in the end with such a late equaliser. It’s natural they’d look for faults and flaws to try and make themselves feel better but there was nothing in the challenge Rice brings up.

They can be proud of their second half performance at Celtic Park and as the game wore on, you felt they might just nick a goal.

Lucky for Celtic, we have a team who don’t know they’re beaten. Scott Brown lit up Celtic Park with the winner and has put distance between top spot and second.
