CALVIN MILLER will spend the second half of the season on loan to Ayr United it has been confirmed tonight.

The Celtic youth star had been back at the club after his Dundee loan was cut short earlier this month, but now Miller will help the Championship with their attempt to reach the SPFL.

Miller is not the first Celtic player to go out on loan today, there have been five so far if you count the three players Celtic have signed and immediately loaned out in Maryan Shved, Andrew Gutman and Manny Perez, and also Lewis Morgan’s move to Sunderland.

Miller’s future at Celtic is up in the air after failing to make the breakthrough into the first team. Brendan Rodgers changed the player from an attacking player to a left back since coming in, and that’s not helped him gain a place within the side.

Kieran Tierney has the position locked down, and anyone playing in that position will be playing second fiddle to the Celtic star while he’s at the club.
