CELTIC have made another positive move for the future by signing young Ewan Henderson to a new three and a half year deal with the club.
Henderson was free to go at the end of this season before he put pen to paper on the new long term deal.
The midfielder and brother of former Celtic youth product Liam Henderson has been making great strides in the past year. Ewan has been training with the first team for quite some time and even joined Rodgers and the bhoys in Dubai at the beginning of January.
His hard work culminated in a cameo appearance against St Mirren last week where he carved out a goal for Timothy Weah with a sublime pass.
Rodgers is very keen to keep the youngster’s development going and this new contract means he will likely have first-team opportunities over the next 18 months.
✍️ Ewan Henderson has signed a new three-and-a-half year contract which will see him remain at #CelticFC until at least the summer of 2022.
Well deserved, Ewan! ?https://t.co/LNBycXGA3e
