KERR MCINROY is the topic of discussions between Celtic and Airdrie, with who he spent the last six months on loan.

He was impressive throughout this spell with four goals and four assists in all competitions, it is clear to see why Ian Murray is wanting the player back.

Confirming discussions are taking place, Ian Murryay told the Daily Record;

“He’s done really well for us and I think we have done really well for him. We’ve given him his appetite back and his hunger for football.

“He’s got momentum which is huge for any young player. We have dialogue with Celtic and with Kerr. We’ll continue to have that. At the moment, he’s away back.”

With the 21-year-old’s contract up at the end of the season, Celtic should do the right way and let him leave the club, it is clear he has no future in Paradise.

McInroy rose through the ranks at Celtic but it hasn’t gone to plan for the player. After impressing in pre-season, the most he has featured for Celtic, fans thought he would have much more on an impact on the first team.

I do think, with no disrespect to Airdrie, Kerr can challeng ehimself in the Championship or even Scotland’s top flight.
