Celtic loanee Brody Paterson has joined Luca Connell in picking up an end of season award at League 2 side Queens Park.

Paterson played alongside the Irishman in the side that picked up the League 2 trophy and was awarded the QPFC Committee Young Player of the Year for his performances during the season.

Overall, the left-back made 15 appearances coming into the side as more of a regular towards the back end of the season.

The Spiders had a Celtic contingency running through the squad with three loanees joining Ray McKinnon’s side, as Paterson and Connell were joined by goalkeeper Ryan Mullen.

Paterson was the only one of the three to join at the beginning of the season, spending a valuable campaign with Queens, picking up a lot of experience along the way.

In what was a successful season in the league for Queens Park, being promoted to League One, setting the three players up to know what the winning demand is like at the top of a league.

Of course, it is a whole different demand when it comes to Celtic, but this sort of experience is great for players to go out and get at a young age.
