CELTIC Fans took to Twitter yesterday to comment on longtime Celtic target John McGinn’s performance against Hearts.

The Hibs midfielder came in for some heavy criticism as Neil Lennon’s side were knocked out of the Scottish Cup by their Edinburgh rivals.

Celtic have been linked with John for quite some time with Neil Lennon slapping a big transfer fee on his head. However, Celtic fans don’t seem overly enamoured after watching the Scottish midfielder yesterday.

Do you still think John McGinn would be a good signing for Celtic?

  1. John McGinn has been an excellent player for Hibs, over a long period of time.
I would love to see the guy at Celtic!

So he didn’t have a good game yesterday v Hearts?
That’ll be the Hearts that horsed us 4-0 a few weeks ago!

  2. Don’t really know about McGinn, at times think he would bring movement and determination to midfield as he always tries to play forward and never knows when he’s beat but had poor game yesterday which all players have

  3. Didn’t all of our players have a poor game at Tynecastle on our last visit ??? So we shouldn’t slaughter this lad for having a bad one. If Brendan thinks he can improve our squad then I reckon he’ll add him to it, quite sure he’ll have a better idea than any of us…….. Hail Hail…….. !

  4. I want him at celtic . Lock me up. Any Celtic fan who judges a player on one game is nuts, he has been top class for Hibs more often than not

  5. Some fans don’t know shit , very quick to judge , yeah he had a bad game yesterday but has fantastic potential and long term would be a good signing

  6. NONONO DEFO NOT GUD ENUF 4 CELTICLET HIM GO TO SEVCO AND JOIN THE IDIOTS OF SCOTTISH FOOTBALL GOOD LUCK WHERE EVER HE GOES MAYBE TO THE BIN WIF SEVCO

  7. Wise up you so called fans. This guy would be a great addition to Celtic. Never stops running and not afraid to get stuck in. Unlike some of the Celtic players we have. Get him onboard ASAP Brendan. HH.
