GORDON STRACHAN has laughed off any suggestion that Brendan Rodgers would be prepared to leave Celtic for Arsenal
On Sky Sports show ‘The Debate’ the former Celtic manager was asked about the link between the Irishman and London club and he seemed to suggest Arsenal wasn’t a big enough job for Brendan to leave Celtic Park.
“No, he has not done all that he can at Celtic,”
“If you’re leaving Celtic then it has to be for a heck of a job – trust me.
“When you have got a chance to continue success that he is enjoying at the moment, that’s for sure.
Gordon won three titles in a row at Celtic Park and missed out on four in a row on the last day of his final season. He knows how massive the club is and how much of a wrench it is to leave Celtic Park.
Brendan Rodgers is closing in on another league title and potential double treble at the club.
