If you followed the transfer window closely this summer you will have been inundated with the headline Arsenal were trying to pinch one of our top young players. They tried and succeeded when they finally landed Kieran Tierney for a record-breaking £25m.

The defender decided he wanted to make the move and Celtic went about getting the best deal they could for Kieran.

If we thought all of this kind of nonsense was behind us now then think again. According to TeamTalk – the London club are now eyeing Karamoko Dembele from Celtic’s developmental setup.

The tricky winger has played 45 minutes of first team football and only turned 16 in February. He signed a three-year deal with the club and would command a fee and not just a consolation mandated UEFA compensation package.

Celtic know what game they’re in but for many supporters they have been watching the youngster develop for some time and don’t want to see him go before he has become an established first team player and helped Celtic win things.
