BRENDAN RODGERS has finally been able to give Celtic fans some good news on the injury front as Celtic head into February with some pretty noticeable absentees.

Kieran Tierney, Flip Benkovic, Tom Rogic and even Dedryck Boyata have been sidelined with injuries.

Benkovic and Rogic out until March with Tierney and Boyata hopefully back sooner but nobody knows for certain at this moment.

With all that in mind, there’s one man who looks like he’s on his road back after being injured during the first day of training in Dubai back in January.

Olivier Ntcham will be back at the club Monday to be assessed and all going well, should join up with his Celtic teammates on Tuesday to start back training.

Speaking to CelticTV the manager said “Olivier went to Clarefontaine and did some good work out there.

“He’s back here on Monday and we will assess it from our side. Hopefully he will be ready to train on Tuesday.”

Ntcham has had an indifferent season which has been stop/start due to injury. If the player can get fit and recapture the form we know he’s capable of then we have a massive boost heading into Valencia if the player can be ready.
