Celtic outcast Vasilis Barkas is in demand when it comes to representation.

Reports from Greece claim the goalkeeper is set to receive offers from two agencies over representing him and ultimately finding him a move away from Celtic.

It’s not worked out for Barkas at Celtic, the goalkeeper never looked comfortable in the Celtic goals and has fallen down the pecking order to third choice at the moment.

There doesn’t look to be any reprieve for the Greek goalie with Joe Hart commanding the number one spot.

It would be in Barkas’ and Celtics best interest if he moved on in January. If he agrees to an agency doing the work for him, it could expedite the process.

Celtic paid a large fee for the goalie less than 18 months ago and would want to claw some money back for him.

Whoever scouted and recommended the player to replace Fraser Forster at Celtic is hopefully not in the building anymore!

  1. We need to move out players and back room staff that have become dead wood we need a happy squad a team full of players that play for each other or we will win nothing clear out the ones that are not in managers plans…do it now..

  2. Strange one .. the guy was just not suited to the set up in Scotland .. he is a talented goalkeeper , past form for club and country back that up .. he just looks so out of Sinc at Celtic.
I wish him well. Maybe he arrived at the right club at the wrong time ..
