The transfer news seems to be coming thick and fast now. Three players in the door and Celtic are looking to add a couple more.

Bolingoli has played his last game for Celtic and has been linked with a move away from the club on loan. If he does go, it will create a gap for someone else to fill. The club are now looking into left-back replacements – someone who can push Greg Taylor for a place in the side.

According to Sky Sports Journo, Anthony Joseph, Celtic are keen on Leeds Utd left-back, Barry Douglas.

It’s been nine years since Douglas left Scottish football to pursue a career in Europe. Now 30, the defender could add talent as well as experience to the left-back position.

Neil Lennon wants players he can rely on and Douglas has always had a great work ethic.

There will be a few irons in the fire but with Boli not expected to ever make an appearance for Celtic again, the club must act to make sure there’s suitable cover for the rest of the season.
