CELTIC have been irresistible since the winter break. The bhoys are on a domestic winning streak and now find themselves 12 points clear at the top of the table.

It just so happens Celtic have stretched their lead at the top as the anniversary of Brendan Rodgers departure comes into sight. It means 12 months in the job for Neil since he returned firstly on an interim basis before getting the nod to be full time boss.

Many pundits have been looking at the comparisons between Rodgers and Lennon over the past few days.

PLZ Soccer debated the current side compared to a Rodgers side.

Former Ibrox star Barry Ferguson was in no doubt what team he found more menacing and complimented the shift in philosophy since January.

“Celtic are a better team under Neil Lennon than they were with Brendan Rodgers.” Ferguson told PLZ as cites by SunSport.

“I think they are more attack-minded and the thing I like about them is, after the Old Firm game on the 29th, they went away and worked on a system that I think suits them as well.

“You get two strikers up top – [Odsonne] Edouard and [Leigh] Griffiths look a real danger together.

“For me, Celtic are definitely a better team under Neil Lennon.”

This is in sharp contrast to the optimistic note many Ibrox supporters hit when Neil Lennon for the full time job. They hailed the appointment and suggested Gerrard would walk the league. Oh how wrong they were!
