Former Treble winning Celtic star JEREMIE FRIMPONG has attracted interest from German giants Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund and Spanish side Barcelona. [sport1]

His current club, Bayer Leverkusen, is unwilling to sell the player for any less than £25 million, about £14 million more than they signed him for.

Aged just 21, the right-back has received raving reviews from Germany, with it thought he could make it to the top.

If he opts to move to Spain, he could come up against former Celtic man Kieran Tierney, who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Frimpong was only with Celtic for 18 months, leaving Neil Lennon’s final transfer window.

The media didn’t widely report his exit until it was near completion, although I don’t imagine he would have taken time to think about it, no one says no to a top Bundesliga club.

Celtic faced the player in the Europa League group stages this season. Fans gave him a mixed reception, but the dutch youth international was pleased to be back in Paradise.
