A group of Celtic fans have started an initiative this season to get football clubs to charge reasonable prices to watch football not just in Scotland but everywhere.

The ‘Twenty is plenty’ campaign has been on tour around Scottish football stadiums, and other clubs have joined in too.

The partisan nature of football meant there was always going to be push back and we saw this with some of the comments aimed at Celtic fans after protesting in away grounds.

Celtic fans want to see their own club, as well as the rest, bring down the price of football.

Tonight, the Twenty’s Plenty campaign got a massive audience in the Champions League as Bayern took on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. The away support held up a banner during the game declaring twenty is plenty!

Will these clubs ever listen? Too many are being priced out of the game these days and we must make it as accessible as possible.
