CELTIC have been handed a boost after Bayern Munich revealed Robert Lewandowski will NOT be part of the squad for their upcoming visit to Celtic Park.

Celtic will be buoyed by the news that one of their top players will be unable to take part, especially when Celtic were dealt their on blow, losing Patrick Roberts to a hamstring injury on Saturday.

Lewandowski put the Celtic defence to the sword in the Allianz on matchday three but due to a thigh injury and a precautionary measure by the Bayern manager the player will not travel.

Celtic welcome the Germans to Celtic Park tomorrow night in the hope of providing a shock, the task doesn’t get much easier even with some of Bayern’s injury woes.

  1. Good news from the Bayern camp and although Paddy Roberts being out isn’t great I think James Forrest can do a job if selected as think Paddy has been guilty of overplaying lately.
