It’s been a bad day at the office for on-loan Celtic striker Vakoun Bayo who scored an own goal which set up a 1-1 draw between Toulouse and Clermont.
The Ivory Coast under 23 scored a double on his debut but hasn’t done much else since. Today’s result will be a sore one for the striker.
Our writer Lewis Laird has been keeping on top of all the loan players and here’s how they got on today in his Twitter report:
Not the best of afternoons for Bayo, who scored an own goal and played the whole game in Toulouse’s 1-1 draw with Clermont
Scott Robertson again played 90’ minutes, as Gillingham picked up their first three points of the season, with a 3-2 win over Wigan
Lee O’Connor also played 90’ minutes, in a RWB role for Tranmere Rovers. However, his side fell to a 3-0 defeat at home to Cheltenham
Jack Hendry made his second start, playing the entire game in Oostende’s 3-1 win over Leuven
Finally, Ross Doohan is still waiting for his first start in goals for Ross County, as he was on the bench for their 1-0 victory over St Johnstone
