The BBC has confirmed that former Tottenham Hotspur forward Garth Crooks is not on Twitter and that a certain tweet is not genuine.
A BBC spokesman said: “Garth is not on Twitter, this is a completely fake account.”
This tweet appeared last night with a few others saying that Celtic manager Neil Lennon would be Norwich Manager within 48 hours causing much speculation among fans on social media.

Since then odds have shortened on Neil Lennon becoming the next Norwich manager but the fact remains any speculation linking our manager with the Norwich job has came from either a fake account or nonsense from red tops who fail to provide any quotes when telling us he is keen on the move.
Until told otherwise Neil Lennon is the Celtic manager and he is pressing on with his plans for next season at Celtic Park.
