The BBC have made the claim that Slaven Bilic WOULD be interested in taking over the Celtic manager’s position about a decade after he was first linked with the role.

The speculation on the future of the next Celtic manager is becoming more intense as the days go by and while Neil Lennon readies his men for the Scottish Cup final there’s no guarantee he will be the Celtic manager come June.

With far fetched links like Jose Mourinho and Rafa Benitez becoming the bookies favourite on Tuesday morning – Celtic fans don’t know where they’re coming or going.

Trying to decipher what’s real and what’s feasible is harder than ever.

We took a look at Rafa Benitez wage packet at Newcastle as a Sky Sports journalist pointed out his wages would be an issue for Celtic.

Bilic was once sought after by Celtic when he was the Croatia boss and came with a good reputation back then. Since leaving West Ham the manager struggled with a Saudi Arabian side and is now unattached.

It’s worthing there are no quotes with BBC’s claim.

  1. I think is about time celtic pulled their finger out and appoint someone now even leave Neil to finish the job he was asked to do, so whoever it is can start naming the new guys he wants now for next now, if Neil is to get the job fill time then let us know as I think we are very unfair to Neil managing with his hands tied behind his back ie trying hard not to tinker with the team just now, also the support again has been pressured to get their tkts for the 10th May 19 without having a clue who the manager is going to be. I also hope that if they give the job to Neil it is not down to cost it will be on his record of how he gets the best out the players we have just now because I sure that neil must have target s in mind again we must strike now because if it gets any later the good best players will be gone so now is the Time also for Europe as we will have to start early training ect and the new players should all be in to give us a chance to qualify so Peter and his band of merry men pull thy finger out and get someone in (not David moyes) he has no spark about him dull and boring so not him if we do get anyone in and it’s not Neil would it be insulting for him to stay and help the new guy in so hail hail
