FORMER Celtic striker and current homes under the hammer host Dion Dublin has told Football Focus on BBC One the Interim Celtic manager is an ‘absolute nutter’.

While that sounds like a negative comment, it did come across as an affectionate comment from Dublin towards his former team-mate.

Dublin backed Neil Lennon all the way and has tipped the Celtic man to win the treble since returning to the club.

“I wouldn’t put it past him [to do the treble],” Dublin told Football Focus. “He was my captain at Celtic. I was only at Celtic for a very short time, I was very lucky to do the double. He was the leader at Celtic; he was the captain. Absolute nutter!” Dublin revealed as reported by HITC.

“Absolute passion in the heart to win games. For the players around him to have the same standards as him. He will go back to Celtic and he will make sure those players want to win everything.”

Dublin was a temporary signing by Gordon Strachan back in the day and he famously got among the goals in the Jinky Johnstone Cup Final – a Hampden showpiece dedicated to the Lord of the Wing not long after his passing.

It’s nice to see an Ex-Celt break from the script and talk about the club so positively with no motivation to be negative.
