Neil Lennon didn’t take kindly to a line of questioning by BBC man Kheradine in the aftermath of more dropped points in the SPFL.
The manager has been backed in recent weeks by the board and Peter Lawwell but the trajectory is still downwards. It’s clear a change is needed and Kheradine was asking if the result against St Johnstone would push the board to act.
Neil Lennon seemed irritated by the journalist but he has to understand it’s a legitimate line of questioning after two wins in twelve.
The manager doesn’t seem to be able to turn things around. We’ve suffered some very humiliating defeats and we’re in danger of being in a fight for second spot. We’ve fallen so far, so quickly and people need to be accountable.
The board not acting to this point has seen fans get very frustrated. Kheradine admitted he applauds the board for their loyalty but had to ask the question.
Funny thing is , I actually applaud the @CelticFC board’s loyalty to a man who bailed them when BR suddenly left. Secured the ‘treble treble’ and may make that a quadruple. But no one’s patience is eternal : as NL himself admits , results will dictate. And it’s now 2 wins in 12 https://t.co/eKhzkWtR3U

Annoyed were you Neil? Angry that this was raised? Well let me tell you there are thousands of fans who feel the same way. And you’re not paying much attention to THEIR wishes.
