Returning BBC pundit Michael Stewart hit the nail on the head when it came to how Celtic managed to capitulate at Celtic Park on Thursday night.
For many, it was similar tot the Cluj performance in the Champions League qualifiers. A result we should have been able to pick up on the night but let ourselves down badly in the end.
Copenhagen came with a game plan and played it out well but they needed help from us to make sure they got through to the last 16 of the competition. The disappointing this is, we did give them life in the tie and we helped them on their way in the end.
After the game, Michael Stewart gave his immediate reaction on the game and he’s correct when he writes we shot ourselves in the foot.
Quite simply three horrendous defensive errors have cost Celtic in this game tonight. Simunovic for the first put them on the back foot then Ajer for the 2nd & 3rd has finished the tie off for Celtic

Celtic lost 3-1 on the night and crashed out of a competition to lesser opposition. Considering who we beat to top our group, this is a sore one.
