Michael Stewart wants to see the same kind of energy and desire from the Ibrox club and their support in the wake of the deplorable racist video aimed at Kyogo Furuhashi.

The BBC pundit watched a few months ago while the fans and the club stood with Glen Kamara [and rightly so] in the face of abhorrent racism.

Celtic have condemned the video and the Ibrox club say they’re investigating things.

Let’s be clear, we can’t have selective reactions to racism depending what side the racism is coming from. If it’s within your support, you must call it out and shout it down loudly.

Michael Stewart wants to see that happen.

We all must do our bit to stamp out prejudice and educate those who think it’s just banter.

We don’t want to see this fade into the background and have the Ibrox club say they are dealing or have dealt with it. Show us you mean business, let the support know these fans are not allowed back in Ibrox or any away ground supporting the club.

Strong action is needed.

Kyogo Furuhashi has come to this country to play his football. To be met with such a ridiculous form of racism for simply being a Celtic player is wrong.

  1. To be honest I would not hold my breath on rangers investigateing the racist abuse of the celtic player it is not rocket science to find out what supporters bus it was done on but me personally nothing will be done

  2. its one thing defending your own players against racism lets see if they are serious about this subject or as I And many in society think just hypocrites.

  3. The findings of this “investigation” will never be published. They never are when it comes to those filthy hypocrites, it’s all “Brush it under the carpet and they’ll all forget about it by the next time the same thing happens.” Rinse and repeat, all aided by a subservient media who will willingly pay for the pleasure.

Most despicable club in the game, by a country mile…
