A BBC reporter has confirmed both Fraser Forster and Moi Elyounoussi are only training with Celtic because their loan move doesn’t officially end until the end of June.
Both players have reported for training, even though, at this point, neither will be part of Celtic’s season.
The pair are both Southampton players and will be expected to head back to ST Mary’s over the summer.
Of course, as we’ve pointed out in the past – Celtic could have told both players not to bother coming to train because their deal was pretty much up. Bringing them both in and adding them to the clusters training could be a move by Celtic to try and twist their arm for a prolonged stay.
Re Fraser Forster and Mohamed Elyounoussi @CelticFC : loans from England/English clubs usually expire at the end of June . Hence why they’re both back training at Lennoxtown. Doesn’t mean they won’t sign/re-sign; doesn’t mean they will…

If Celtic fans could pick one player to come back, Fraser Forster would be the majorities choice. However, getting both back would be a fantastic coup. Right now, everything is still up in the air.
