Kyogo Furuhashi got all the plaudits, and deservedly so, for his winner at Ibrox a few weeks ago. The Japanese forward, though, wasn’t the only Celtic player to pile on the agony to the club who sit fourth in the Scottish Premiership table.
Indeed Odin Thiago Holm’s perfectly timed tackle towards the end of the Glasgow derby looks to have caused Rangers’ midfielder Todd Cantwell an injury, Michael Beale has confirmed. He said (PLZ Soccer): “Unfortunately Todd Cantwell will miss the next 3 or 4 games as a result of a challenge at the end of the game.”
Brought on for the final 25 minutes, the young Norwegian midfielder impressed. He made a number of smart passes, and his sliding challenge on Cantwell was nothing but fair:
could watch this holm tackle on tiktok todd all day 🤣 pic.twitter.com/dqhpBBqST7

Beale labelled it as ‘unfortunate’ that Cantwell will be out, although he has not been at his best this season. The Englishman has failed to score in eight appearances in all competitions and seems to have been more lively on social media than on the pitch.
Holm’s challenge on the 25-year-old was vital because it was in the dying embers and ensured the Celts got the ball out of their final third to sustain yet another wave of opposition attack. It had consequences in terms of the result of the game, and regarding the availability and fitness of rival players.
Great Tiktok Toad will do no more gay videos on his balletic moves.
Missin yae already.
Can’t stand Cantrell, but I can’t stand homophobic slurs either. Totally uncalled for – not the Celtic way.
Typo much? Cantrell, I do like (AIC) – It’s Cantwell that’s an eejit.
Much and all as I agree with your sentiment, the term “phobia” is clearly a misunderstood exaggeration and wrongly applied term by many to create their own desired repulsion of another persons misguided or bigoted opinion and is being used more and more to stifle free speech.
PHOBIA; (according to the Oxford dictionary.)
A persistent, irrational fear of an object, event, activity, or situation called a phobic stimulus, resulting in a compelling desire to avoid it. The presence or anticipation of the phobic stimulus triggers anxiety or a panic attack, although the person acknowledges the fear to be irrational, and the phobic stimulus is either avoided or endured with dread. A phobia that leads to clinically significant distress or impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning may be diagnosed as a mental disorder—either a specific phobia or a social phobia. A comprehensive list of phobias and phobic stimuli is provided in Appendix I at the back of this dictionary. According to the National Phobics Society, the eight most common phobias in the UK (in descending order) are: arachnophobia, social phobia, aeronausiphobia, agoraphobia, carcinophobia, brontophobia, thanatophobia, and cardiophobia. Also called a phobic neurosis. See also (in the main body of the dictionary) agoraphobia, dysmorphophobia, Little Hans, pa-leng, paraphobia, phobic technique, social phobia, specific phobia, thanatophobia. phobic adj. [From Greek phobos fear + -ia indicating a condition or quality]
