It was a great outing last night for two on-loan Celts at Charlotte Independence with the pair of Mark Hill and Andrew Gutman combining to score the American side’s first goal of the game against Bethlehem Steel.
Jim McGuinness’ men ran out 2-1 winners in the end, thanks to the opening goal from Andrew Gutman who got on the end of a spectacular free kick by Mark Hill who was unlucky not to find the net himself with his effort.
Have a look!

Gutman was signed in the summer only to be loaned straight back out to get game time; he had not played at a professional level since making his debut for Charlotte.
Mark Hill has gone out since to join him with Jim McGuiness pulling some strings at his end to get the lad in from the developmental side.
It certainly looks like it’s paying dividends at the moment.
