DEDRYCK BOYATA is reportedly ‘sweating’ over his potential summer move to the Bundesliga with Hertha Berlin after the club let go of their manager.

Pal Dardai will be stepping down at the end of the season after a string of poor results and if it was the manager specifically who wanted the Belgium star in the doors, it could spell trouble for the centre back.

Reports claim Boyata has already verbally accepted a deal with the club which is yet to be signed and sealed. The same report claims the defender is set to receive a bumper £40kpw contract from the German side should he cut ties with Celtic this summer.

Dedryck has made no secret about his desire to move on from Celtic and wanted to do so last summer with the move being blocked by Brendan Rodgers who then fled to the Premier League seven months later.

Boyata has put the work in and nobody can accuse the player of not giving his all for the club during his last season. The Belgian has most likely played his last game for Celtic after picking up an injury in Celtic’s 2-1 win over The Rangers in March.
