SHAY LOGAN is known more for his gob than his footballing abilities and he’s true to form as he speaks about Celtic and their Glasgow rivals over the gap in funding between the SPFL clubs.

It would happen now when Aberdeen have shipped four against Celtic and five against Steven Gerrard’s men this season already.

The Dons have not been up to scratch and Celtic blew Logan and his teammates away on their own patch in a first half blitz at the end of October.

Speaking about both Glasgow clubs, the player talks about the gap in funding and says it’s rich when they talk about the Euro gap in money.

“Rangers and Celtic have the means and the funds. I support Manchester City and they can do it, as can Manchester United and Liverpool.” Logan told SunSport.

“I just think it’s funny they can go and play the likes of Porto or Valencia in the Europa League and use it as, ‘Oh but’. It works both ways.

“Their funds are their funds and they have good money behind them, but we have no debt.”

Why he feels the need to chime in is beyond me.

More to the point – we’ve not heard anyone at Celtic this season make that excuse and when the likes of Lazio or Valencia come to town Celtic fans expect the club to go all out for the win.

  1. No one listens to this bitter and twisted dud. Most of the season he is poor, and then 2 games he leaves his mark on players. Remind me, what exactly have you won during your time at the oil city, Mr Big Shot?
