Stefan Scepovic Celtic career hasn’t really got going yet since he made the move to Glasgow a month ago.

The Serbian striker has been over shadowed by the arrival of on-loan Man City forward John Guidetti. The Swede’s arrival has limited Stefan’s time on the pitch so far, the manager unable to leave John out now after scoring midweek against Hearts and bagging Celtic’s 2 goals against St Mirren this weekend.

If Guidetti was eligible for Europe then I believe he would be starting on Thursday against Zagreb but unfortunately he wasn’t registered in time which leaves Stefan Scepovic with a major opportunity to impress.

The player scored well in the Spanish lower league for Sporting Gijon but has yet to find the net for his new club. Thursday night could be a timely boost for the frontman who will be desperate to impress after seeing Guidetti grab the headlines.

There is real competition for places now in the Celtic striking department, especially because Ronny only usually likes playing with one out and out striker. This is not a bad thing; competition will bring out the best in the two players hopefully.

With Celtic in 4 competitions at the moment, there is no reason why these two players can’t share the limelight.
